MCTV Launches | City of Midland

The MCTV Network is excited to announce that it has launched a new on-demand video service for watching local programming, government meetings, and more available anywhere Midlanders enjoy streaming video.

On the new platform, viewers will find a more user-friendly interface and more modern viewing options for City Council and City boards and commissions meetings; Midland Public Schools board meetings, sports, and special events; community media created by MCTV access users; and a message board with non-profit events, community announcements, and other live community programming. In addition to improved accessibility, the move also provides a significant cost savings to the City over the previous video-on-demand service.

MCTV VOD is accessible via Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV devices on the free MCTV Network app; on mobile devices via the free Cablecast Community Media App; and on the City of Midland website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/videos. When watching on the website, viewers can access meeting agendas and chapter markers that allow them to quickly select and skip to the items most important to them.

Cable television subscribers can continue to access the MCTV Network on Charter Spectrum channels 188 – 191 and on AT&T U-Verse channel 99.

To learn more about the MCTV Network, visit www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/mctv, follow MCTV on Facebook, or search for MCTV Network Community Voices on YouTube or your podcast platform of choice. The MCTV Network is a service of the City of Midland.
